When should I register/buy my ticket?
edVentures workshops offer hands-on instruction in an intimate setting. Most classes range from 6 to 12 participants, allowing them the opportunity to experience an enjoyable, enriching, learning environment. There is ample time to have extra instruction and a chance to get to know others in your class. We recommend registering early to avoid disappointment as workshop class sizes are small. As well, any workshop that does not meet minimum registration one week in advance may be cancelled.

Are there minimum age requirements to register for this workshop?
All edVentures workshops require participants to be a minimum of 16 years of age.

What's the refund policy?
If a workshop is cancelled for any reason, payment is refunded in full minus the eventbrite fee.
If the registrant cancels > 30 days in advance of the workshop, payment will be refunded in full minus the eventbrite fee.
If the registrant cancels 15 - 30 days in advance of the workshop, half the fee will be refunded minus the eventbrite fee.
If the registrant cancels 0 - 14 days in advance of the workshop, no refund will be offered.

Will there be a weather postponement or cancellation?
Please note that if a workshop takes place in the winter, it has a “weather date” of the following day. You should expect an e-mail from edVentures the week prior to your workshop that will explain when and how the call will be made to postpone or cancel the workshop.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
No. If a workshop is sold out, there is a waiting list and we will go to the waiting list once a registation has been refunded or cancelled.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring your ticket (or show it to us on your mobile device, you'll need data) and a piece of picture I.D.

Is there an additional materials fee?
All material costs are incorporated into the workshop fee unless otherwise indicated on the workshop listing. Should you already have some experience and wish to bring some of your own tools, certainly do so.

What are my parking options?
You will find a convenient parking lot behind City Hall (397 Queen Street), accessed by York Street. Parking can be paid for daily at the kiosks located in the lot. There are no parking fees Saturdays or Sundays at City of Fredericton owned parking lots or on-street parking meters.

What language do the instructors speak?
While the majority of workshops are presented in English only, some instructors are bilingual and are pleased to offer their workshops in English and French. Please refer to individual workshop descriptions to see if this is being offered.
