From free outdoor films & concerts in a lively setting to gallery openings and historic walking tours, you're sure to find lots to do, both in and out of the workshop.  And did we mention that we also have over 115kms of walking, biking, and in-line skating trails?

Here are some of the things that will be happening in Fredericton during your stay.  

FREE activities:

Changing of the Guard Ceremony - With a flash of scarlet and a skirl of pipes, history comes to life! The Canadian Army was born in 1884 with the establishment of the Infantry School Corps, Company 'A' in Fredericton. Watch as period-dressed guards re-enact a drill ceremony to the beat of a piper and drummer.
Timing: Daily at 11am & 4pm, with additional ceremonies on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm (July & August)

Fredericton Changing of the Guard

Fencibles Theatre - A theatrical performance in a historical setting.  Great enjoyment for everyone!
Timing: daily at 4:30pm 
Location: Barracks Square - Historic Garrison District

Guided Heritage Walking Tour - Costumed guides entertain you with local history and folklore on a free walking tour of downtown Fredericton's historic sites. 
Timing: Daily at 10am & 2:30pm 
Location: Guided Tours start from City Hall 

Outdoor Summer Concert Series - Sit back and unwind while you take in one of our free outdoor concerts featuring some of New Brunswick's top performers.  
Timing: Tuesdays & Thursday at 7:30pm 
Location: Officers' Square - Historic Garrison District 

Cool Culture in Fredericton

Outdoor Summer Theatre -  Fredericton Outdoor Summer Theatre presents their Calithumpians in free Theatre-in-The-Park!  Expect humorous and historical fare for which the Company is famous.
Timing: 12:15pm weekdays and 2pm on weekends
Location: Officers' Square - Historic Garrison District

Under the Stars Film Series - Join our community for a romantic movie night under the stars. Watch modern & classic films outdoors on the silver screen! Refreshments are available on-site. 
Timing: Saturday & Sunday nights at dusk

Haunted Hikes - Meet the ghosts of historic figures from Fredericton's past on a lantern-lit tour through downtown Fredericton. This tour is fun, distinct and exceptional featuring spine tingling frights and funny bone tickling gags.
Timing: Monday - Saturday arrive at 8:45pm
