Crafting Sacred Copper Bowls

Join knowledgeable artist Aidan Stanley for a fulfilling afternoon, creating your own sacred copper bowl. Learn how to anneal, sink and form a bowl, finished with natural elements and made ready to hold those special objects you find along the trail, or beach!

 

Instructor: Aidan Stanley
Aidan Stanley is an artist, goldsmith and teacher living along the beautiful Saint John River in New Brunswick. Aidan is currently transitioning back to NB from three years of practicing, and teaching jewellery in the Arctic. Aidan also teaches summer workshops in tandem with his wife Erica Stanley at Fundy National Park and at their studio gallery just outside the Village of Gagetown: Queenstown Goldsmiths. 

Aidan creates magical, technical, and lyrical jewellery and metal art. Sculpture, fine jewellery, and elegant furniture are his repertoire, specializing in custom jewellery, designed with and for the client. 

Aidan is represented by Buckland Merrifield Gallery in Saint John, and Strata Art Studios in Fredericton.
