Introduction to Jewellery Enamelling

In this 2-day workshop, you will be make at least 2 enamelled copper pendants and a pair of enamelled copper earrings.

You’ll work in a genuine jewellery studio and experiment with a technique that uses fused powdered glass to add a nice touch of colour to your jewellery!

In this introductory class, as well as acquiring some basic jewellery making skills, you will learn the basic enamelling technique of sifting.

If you are new to jewellery making, or if you are an intermediate student wanting to expand your jewellery making knowledge, this workshop is for you!

Audrée Hamelin-St-Amour
Audrée H.St-Amour has studied in Fine Arts at Cégep du Vieux Montréal and at L’école de joaillerie de Montréal. 

She is a 2012 graduate, with honours, in jewelry/metal arts at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design where she distinguished herself with an aesthetic rich in composition with the use of dissimilar design elements and materials. 

Since 2011, her work has been exhibited in numerous shows and publication in Canada and in the United States.

She has taught in the NBCCD jewellery/metal art program since 2013.

As she continues to develop and create her own “statement jewellery”, Audrée aspires to continue contributing to the domain of contemporary jewellery as an artist and as an educator.
